Kanayama Llama #80000 Hanging Razor Strop
Kanayama’s #80000 strop features a premium cordovan horse leather surface with professional grade 80000 thickness. With such thick leather, it takes little effort to hone your straight razor, sharpening the blade with remarkable efficiency. To protect your leather strop surface, you’ll find an accompanying black leather encasement, keeping it safe from any outside damage while not in use.
This strop is a 3-in-1 deal: you have the leather surface for honing, and 2 additional strops for warming up your blade. There is a hide strop and a woven canvas strop, both of which lend an ideally abrasive surface that can be used to warm your blade before honing. Each warm-up strop can be attached to the leather strop by way of the screwing mechanism on the metal end cap. At the head of the strop and canvas, a snap hook attaches to any wall fixture, securing the implement while you sharpen, and ensuring your safety. Gear up with this fine strop, and keep your razor in impeccable condition.
Each Kanayama strop is fastidiously handmade by Japanese industry expert, Mr. Kanoyama. After a lifetime spent refining his trade, Mr. Kanoyama has gained world-wide acclaim for his craft, vaunted for its outstanding quality and exceptional artisanship. His style of manufacture is uniquely his own, rendering his strops true pieces of master-level skill.
